Our “İstanbul is the New Cool” campaign, which positioned the city as young, dynamic, and cool, this time focused on one of İstanbul’s most colorful experiences: Shopping. The aim was to differentiate the city on the global stage by showcasing its unique shopping culture, where history and modernity come together.
In the “Shopping in İstanbul is the New Cool” film, we visualized the city’s multilayered shopping experience—from the authentic atmosphere of the Grand Bazaar to the luxury boutiques of Nişantaşı, from vibrant street markets to dynamic modern malls. Each scene emphasized that shopping in İstanbul is not merely consumption, but also a cultural discovery.
The film reflected the city through the eyes of tourists experiencing it firsthand. With dynamic camerawork, music, and energetic editing, İstanbul’s shopping culture was presented as an integral part of a “cool” urban lifestyle. Shopping moments were interwoven with street life and historic landmarks to create a truly original city experience.
